The Word of God is nothing short of transformational. God’s word is full of thousands of promises to help remind us of His character, love, and plans for our future. In a world full of uncertainty, brokenness, and pain, God’s word is our assurance that He is ultimately still in control. Are you standing on God’s promises? Not sure which promise applies to your situation?

We’ve compiled ten powerful promises to encourage you. Feel free to save these promises, read them, and speak them over your life and family daily.

Philippians 4:13 – “For I can do everything through Christ,[a] who gives me strength.

Matthew 6:33 – “Seek the Kingdom of God[a] above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

John 14:13 – “You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.

1 John 5:14-15 – “And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.”

James 1:5 – “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.”

Matthew 7: 7-11Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

 “You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! So, if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.”

Psalm 34:10 – “Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.”

Jeremiah 33:3 – “Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.

Hebrews 4:16 – “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”

Isaiah 41:10 – “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
